Fully compliant with Texas childcare licensing requirements.
Founded by a licensed paramedic and a preschool director, we bring hands-on safety training directly to your facility in Katy and West Houston.
What We Offer
CPR certification, continuing education, and emergency preparedness -- all from one trusted provider. Most centers juggle three separate vendors for these. With ReadyNest, it is one call.
American Heart Association Heartsaver certification courses built for childcare providers, educators, and community members. Your team walks out certified the same day with the hands-on training Texas requires.
Did you know? Online-only CPR courses do not meet Texas childcare licensing requirements. Texas mandates hands-on training with manikins. ReadyNest training is fully in-person, exactly as the state requires.
Continuing education courses designed to help your team meet Texas childcare licensing requirements. We bring the training to your facility so you do not have to shut down or scramble for coverage.
Pricing is per course, not per student. Ask about multi-course in-service training packages.
Custom emergency preparedness plans and consulting for childcare facilities. Texas requires every childcare operation to have a written emergency preparedness plan, and inspectors check for it. We help you get it done right.
Our preparedness planning combines real-world emergency response experience with nationally recognized emergency management frameworks used by first responders.
The Difference
Your instructor is a licensed paramedic and Field Training Officer who has responded to real emergencies for years. This is field-tested expertise, not textbook knowledge.
Our co-founder is a preschool director who deals with the same staffing, scheduling, and compliance challenges you do. We designed this training for your reality, not a generic audience.
Infant choking. Playground falls. Allergic reactions. Febrile seizures. Our training covers the scenarios your staff actually faces in childcare settings, not just generic adult CPR.
Professional instruction using CPR manikins and AED trainers. Meets all Texas childcare licensing requirements for hands-on skills training. Online-only courses do not qualify. Ours do.
We work around your operations. Training during in-service days, evenings, or weekends. Split sessions available so you can keep classrooms covered and ratios intact.
On-site training at your facility. No travel for your staff, no coverage gaps, no disruption to your day. We set up, train, and leave you with certified team members.
Our Story
ReadyNest Safety was founded by a husband-and-wife team committed to improving safety in childcare environments.
Sharief is a licensed paramedic and Field Training Officer with years of experience in emergency medical response and provider development. He holds a Bachelor's degree in EMS Administration and has trained emergency responders and community members in lifesaving skills throughout his career. Through his work in emergency medical services, he has seen firsthand why preparedness and early intervention matter.
Stephanie brings extensive experience as a preschool director, providing valuable insight into the operational needs, regulatory requirements, and day-to-day safety challenges faced by childcare centers.
Together, they created ReadyNest to bridge the gap between emergency medical expertise and childcare leadership. The result: practical safety training and preparedness programs designed specifically for the people who care for children every day.
